Flawless Flava Crew

Flava Dance sediakan pilihan kursus contemporary dance. Tempat dance yang berada di wilayah Centre Point Lt. 2 no. 220 ini meskipun terhitung baru berdiri, namun untuk kru dari  Flava Dance sendiri sudah menggeluti dunia tari sejak lama yang tergabung dalam Flawless Flava Crew. Dengan membawa basic dance hip hop, kursus tari ini juga menyediakan kursus jenis tarian lainnya, mulai dari breakdance, street jazz, serta temporary jazz.

Seperti yang dituturkan oleh Sherly Veronica selaku leader of Flawless Flava Crew sampai saat ini untuk kru dance ini sudah berpersonilkan 15 orang. Dan kini setelah membuka kursus tari, sudah semakin banyak yang bergabung dengan Flava Dance. Untuk kursus tari disiapkan beberapa kelas, yakni hiphop dance remaja dewasa, hiphop dance untuk anak mulai dari usia delapan tahun, break dance remaja dewasa, breakdance anak dan lainnya.

" Tempat kursus tari sebenarnya sudah banyak, tetapi yang menjadi ciri khas kita yakni arah tari yang lebih ke hip hop. Selain itu kita juga sediakan contemporary jazz yang jarang ada di tempat kursus tari kebanyakan. Biarpun baru buka, Flava Crew sendiri sudah sering ikut kompetisi dan menang jadi juara," ucap Sherly kepada tribunnewsbatam.com, Senin (27/6).

Untuk contemporary jazz dipaparkan Sherly merupakan tarian yang memiliki foundation ballet di dalamnya. Hanya dengan biaya pendaftaran Rp 125 ribu, per bulannya harga kursus tari di Flava Dance bervariasi mulai dari Rp 140 ribu ke Rp 150 ribu. Selama satu bulan kursus akan diadakan 4 kali pertemuan, untuk satu kali pertemuan kelas remaja dewasa selama 90 menit. Sedangkan bagi kelas anak-anak sekali pertemuan selama 60 menit.

Selain itu, hal menarik dari Flava Dance disebut Sherly kepada tribunnewsbatam.com yakni setiap peserta kursus yang sudah melewati level kursus akan diuji langsung di panggung dan bukan di dalam ruangan semata.

" Namanya dancer pasti pengen ditonton sama orang, maka itu untuk ujian kita akan buat event kita sendiri di keramaian. Sehingga ujian dilakukan di panggung langsung di depan banyak orang, nggak seperti kebanyakan tempat kursus tari setelah selesai dan mau maju ke level selanjutnya cuma ujian di dalam ruangan saja," tutup Sherly.

Jujur, tahun baru kali ini beda sama tahun baru 2011 yang bisa gue bilang cukup suram. HAHAH gimana ngga? gue tahun baruan jauh dari mama papa dan adik-adik gue. Gue tahun baruan di Kalimantan Barat, Pontianak tepatnya. Menyongsong tahun baru, Kalbar seperti gada persiapan sama sekali. Ga semeriah Batam yang bener-bener WOW banget. HAHA
